"Information Security Management System"
We are pleased to inform you that the Department has been granted the accreditation of the PCA for conducting certification processes of information security management systems in compliance with PN-I 07799-2:2005 standard.
A certificate in compliance with PN-I 07799-2:2005 standard ensures:
- confidentiality - information is available only to authorized staff,
- integrity - guarantees preciseness and completeness of information and its security methods, which ensures that authorised users have permanent access to this information,
- availability - authorized users have permanent access to the information.
PN-I 07799 standard can be applied in any organization which deals with data processing, filing and storing information. The standard is intended for any organization wishing to ensure a high level of information and data security.
A certificate in compliance with PN-I 07799 confirms that the implemented information security management system (ISMS) has been checked and verified, and complies with standard's requirements. An issued certificate confirms that the information security management system has been developed, implemented and that all necessary measures have been taken to prevent unauthorised access to information.
In order to begin certification process in compliance with PN-I 07799-2:2005 (BS 7799-2), it is necessary to submit the following documents:
- organization's questionnaire,
- application for system certification,
- signed contract,
- necessary ISMS documentation (Security Policy, Statement of Applicability, procedures and instructions).
The Department guarantees that information security management system documentation will not be disclosed or copied, and after the audit will be returned to the organization.
